Our town: a charming French village known for its beautiful beaches and forest as the name literally can be translated “wood beach”. In summer, there is a vibrant morning market and few little local shops. Many water sports are possible such as surf, stand up paddle, sailing boat, etc. You can also take the opportunity to play tennis, ride a horse in the forest, run in the vineyard or just enjoy the many kilometers of bike paths. This is the place to be to relax or get active in a natural protected area.
Island of Re: is ideal to enjoy beautiful landscape from overlooking the sea, salt marsh and forest. There is a rich heritage to visit such as Vauban works.

The village and its beach
Located on the south side of the Island of Ré, le Bois Plage is bordered on one side by the ocean and on the other by pine forests. Our hotel is located in the heart of this very lively village in season with one of the largest markets on the island.
